This exciting little pixel-art RPG from Italian developer HungryPixel has entered it’s last week on kickstarter having achieved 80 percent of it’s goal and are now pushing for the final funding and beyond, hoping to provide some of the content included in their stretch goals.
Netherworld will be a quaint and curious side-scrolling adventure game where you control a dark mollusc living in an even darker world whose wife has recently left him and has now turned to drink and sin, you battle your way through dialogue, relationships, alcoholism and unique, cinematic bosses on a surreal journey that will take this octopodean hedonist further than he ever wanted to go.
The Kickstarter campaign ends on Tuesday 20th of march, so there is not much time to secure your official certificate from the hallowed institution of The Netherworld Church along with a host of other unique and interesting rewards including access to a discord server so you can keep up to date with all the development news first hand.
If HungryPixel surpass their 5000 euro goal, there is scope for some exciting stretch goals, including a Nintendo Switch port and the ability to customize your in-game house.
